A quick, no-fuss bento box lunch combining savory turkey slices, crisp apple wedges, and cheddar cheese crackers for a balanced and satisfying meal perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces (115 grams) turkey slices (deli-style or leftover roasted turkey)
  • 1 medium Fuji or Honeycrisp apple, thinly sliced
  • 1520 cheddar cheese crackers
  • 56 baby carrots
  • 2 tablespoons hummus or ranch dip (optional)
  • Small handful (about 1/4 cup or 30 grams) mixed nuts or trail mix (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the apple thoroughly. Core if desired, then slice into thin wedges about 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick. Optionally toss slices in a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. Lay out 4 ounces (115 grams) of turkey slices. Fold or cut into bite-sized pieces for easier eating.
  3. Select about 15-20 cheddar cheese crackers and place them in their own compartment to keep crispy.
  4. Place 5-6 baby carrots in one section. Portion 2 tablespoons of hummus or ranch dip into a small container or silicone cup.
  5. Optionally add a small handful (about 1/4 cup or 30 grams) of mixed nuts or trail mix to fill extra space and add protein.
  6. Pack and seal the bento box securely. Use silicone cups or dividers if your container lacks compartments to keep wet and dry items separate.

Notes

Keep crackers separate from moist items to maintain crispness. Toss apple slices in lemon juice or pack separately to prevent browning. Fold turkey slices for easier eating and better presentation. Prep apple slices and dips the night before if needed, but keep wet and dry ingredients separate until serving.
