A quick and visually stunning fruit tray shaped like candy corn, served with a creamy Greek yogurt dip. Perfect for Halloween parties and fall gatherings, this healthy treat comes together in under 20 minutes and is always the first to go.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into spears or triangles
  • 2 cups clementines or mandarin oranges, peeled and separated into segments
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (optional, for filling gaps)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (full-fat preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yogurt dip: In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 cup Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of cinnamon if using. Whisk until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired. Cover and refrigerate while preparing the fruit.
  2. Cut the pineapple: Slice off the top and bottom of the pineapple. Stand it upright and cut away the skin in strips. Remove any remaining brown eyes. Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise, then into quarters. Remove the core from each quarter. Slice into 1-inch thick spears or triangles.
  3. Prepare the clementines: Peel each clementine and separate into individual segments. Aim for about 2 cups of segments.
  4. Hull and halve the strawberries: Rinse strawberries, pat dry, cut off tops, and slice each in half lengthwise. Quarter if very large.
  5. Arrange the candy corn shape: Place a small serving bowl for the dip at the bottom center of a large platter. Starting from the top, arrange pineapple pieces in a wedge shape tapering toward the dip bowl (yellow layer). Below that, create a row of clementine segments (orange layer). Below that, arrange strawberry halves (red layer).
  6. Fill gaps: Tuck in blueberries or extra fruit pieces to make the tray look full.
  7. Fill the dip bowl: Spoon chilled yogurt dip into the serving bowl. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of honey if desired.
  8. Serve immediately: Best served within an hour of assembly.

Notes

The dip can be made up to two days ahead and stored in the refrigerator. Fruit can be prepped a few hours ahead, but arrange the tray just before serving. For transport, keep dip separate and assemble on site. Use a white or light-colored platter to make the colors pop. Dry fruit thoroughly to prevent watery dip.
