A fun and easy game day snack featuring a mini charcuterie board shaped like a football, with warm pretzel bites, cheese, salami, and fresh produce. Perfect for impressing guests without spending hours in the kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (10-12 ounces) frozen or store-bought pretzel bites
  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes or slices
  • 4 ounces pepper jack cheese, cut into small cubes or slices
  • 4 ounces Genoa salami, thinly sliced
  • 2 ounces pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 cup red or green grapes
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup honey mustard or spicy sriracha mayo (for dipping)
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme) for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pretzel bites if using frozen: preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake according to package directions (about 8-10 minutes). Let cool for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Place a small cutting board or platter (about 8×10 inches) on a flat surface. Optionally line with parchment paper.
  3. Arrange pretzel bites around the outer edge of an oval shape to create the football outline, using about 8-10 pretzel bites.
  4. Inside the pretzel outline, place cheddar and pepper jack cheese cubes in a single layer, alternating colors.
  5. Fold or roll salami slices into rosettes or logs and place in the center of the board. Add pepperoni slices around the edges to create a stripe effect.
  6. Scatter grapes and cherry tomatoes in the gaps around the cheese and meats.
  7. Place a small bowl of dipping sauce in the center of the board (on top of the meats) to act as the football lace.
  8. Garnish with fresh herb sprigs around the edges if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, serve immediately while pretzel bites are warm. You can prep ingredients a day ahead and assemble just before serving. Feel free to customize with different cheeses, meats, or dips.
