This Easy Homemade Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Latte is a quick and simple recipe that delivers a thick, velvety cold foam with warm pumpkin spice flavors, perfect for cozy fall mornings without the coffee shop price tag.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy cream, cold
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk, cold (whole milk preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) pumpkin puree (100% pure)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 cup (240 ml) strong brewed coffee, cooled (cold brew or espresso preferred)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk of your choice (oat milk recommended)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew 1 cup (240 ml) of strong coffee and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon. Whisk gently to break up the pumpkin puree until smooth.
  3. Using a handheld milk frother, froth the mixture for 30 to 45 seconds until it doubles in volume and forms soft peaks.
  4. Fill a serving glass with ice cubes. Pour in 1/2 cup (120 ml) of milk, then slowly pour the cooled coffee over the ice.
  5. Using a spoon, gently scoop the cold foam onto the top of the coffee, starting at the edges and working toward the center.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice over the foam. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon.

Notes

For best results, use cold heavy cream straight from the fridge. If foam isn’t thickening, chill the bowl for 5 minutes before frothing. The foam base (un-frothed) can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. For a dairy-free version, use full-fat coconut cream and oat milk.
