This easy candy corn bark with white chocolate is a quick, 10-minute treat that combines creamy white chocolate with crunchy candy corn and a touch of flaky sea salt. Perfect for Halloween parties, movie nights, or any time you need a sweet and salty snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces (340g) white chocolate chips or bars, chopped
  • 1 ½ cups (about 180g) candy corn
  • ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt (optional)
  • ¼ cup (30g) chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • ¼ cup (30g) dried cranberries (optional)
  • Zest of 1 orange (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper, letting the edges hang over the sides.
  2. Place the white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring well after each interval, until mostly melted with a few lumps. Stir continuously until the residual heat melts the remaining lumps. The chocolate should be smooth, glossy, and warm to the touch.
  3. Pour the melted white chocolate onto the center of the prepared baking sheet. Using a rubber spatula, spread it into an even rectangle about ¼-inch thick. Work quickly as white chocolate sets fast.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet and tacky, scatter the candy corn evenly over the surface. Press each piece gently into the chocolate with your fingertips so they are partially embedded.
  5. Sprinkle the flaky sea salt evenly over the entire bark (if using).
  6. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely firm to the touch. For best results, chill for 45 minutes.
  7. Once firm, lift the parchment paper out of the baking sheet and place on a cutting board. Break the bark into irregular pieces with your hands or use a sharp knife for cleaner edges.

Notes

Use good-quality white chocolate for the smoothest melt. Avoid white melting wafers if possible as they have added oils. If your kitchen is warm (above 75°F), the chocolate will take longer to set. For clean breaks, ensure the bark is fully set before breaking. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Freezes well for up to 3 months.
