These crispy air fryer salmon bites feature a perfect balance of a crunchy exterior and tender inside, coated with a sweet and spicy honey sriracha glaze. Quick and easy, they make a delicious snack or light dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • Juice of half a lime (about 1 tablespoon)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillet dry with paper towels and cut into roughly 1-inch cubes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss salmon bites with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until lightly coated.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and lime juice to make the glaze. Adjust sweetness or spiciness to taste.
  5. Arrange salmon pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  6. Cook for 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip each bite and cook another 4-5 minutes until crispy and cooked through (internal temperature 145°F or 63°C).
  7. Transfer salmon bites to a serving plate and immediately brush generously with the honey sriracha glaze.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired and serve hot.

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to avoid steaming instead of crisping. Cook in batches if needed. Brush glaze after cooking to prevent burning. For extra crunch, toss bites in panko crumbs before air frying. Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes to restore crispness. Avoid microwaving to prevent sogginess.
